Hello!

Nice to meet you :)

I’m a self-taught UX designer with strong values of empathy, equity, and inclusivity.

My background in psychology and mental health has heavily shaped my approach to design. In my previous roles, I worked closely with individuals in crisis, developing a deep understanding of their needs and challenges. This experience taught me the importance of empathy, active listening, and behavioral insights—skills that directly translate to my work as a UX designer.

Transitioning into UX was a natural progression for me, as both fields center around understanding people and creating solutions that improve their lives. I leverage my background in behavioral psychology to design experiences that are not only functional but also intuitive, inclusive, and accessible for diverse users. My goal is always to craft designs that make users feel understood and supported, just as I did in my previous career.

I bring an empathetic perspective to design, focusing on intuitive and accessible solutions that empower marginalized communities and ensure equal opportunities for all. My projects include redesigning websites for Oasis Center MN and Lake Maids and developing the RepConnect App, where I emphasized creating user experiences that are both simple and impactful.

I thrive in collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environments where diverse perspectives are valued. Additionally, I have completed the Google UX Design Certificate, where I’ve gained essential skills in user research, design, user testing, wireframing, and prototyping. When I’m not immersed in design, you can find me at the gym, exploring nature with my pup Mochi, or bingeing my favorite true crime podcast!
